George Jackson on the left and his brother John Jackson on the right, of 55 Lockhart street, Stonehouse, and in uniform of the 9th Gordon Highlanders. I have written evidence of George (known as Geordie) Jackson being in France in June 1916. Geordie survived and later moved to Strathaven but I know nothing of his brother John.
