Stonehouse’s Dan and Thomas Murdoch with their parents, George and Mary Todd Murdoch. Dan was a Lance Corporal in the 7th Bn Cameron Highlanders KIA Monday, April 9, 1917 in Araas and is buried in Houdain Lane Cemetery. Thomas served in the 2nd Seaforth Highlanders was gassed but survived the war.
