James Hamilton S9613
James Hamilton was born at Queen Street Stonehouse on 9th November 1894 .
Mother was Grace Todd and father John Hamilton who married on 31st December 1892.
James enlisted at Hamilton and served with the Seaforth Highlanders 8th Battalion Regimental number S/9613.
James was wounded in the left arm in 1916 and was entitled to wear a wound Stripe as authorized under Army Order 204 6th July 1916. He was then wounded again at Ypres in 1917 and then fatally wounded in 1918.
